VERDICT – 0/5

PROS –
1) The main plot is around a 10-year-old Princess Leia being kidnapped by Darth Vader‘s henchmen and Obi-Wan Kenobi coming out of his self-imposed exile to rescue her.
2) The second dual between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi on a deserted planet was kickass.
3) Appearance of a homeless veteran clone trooper.
4) Qui-Gon Jinn‘s cameo.

CONS –
1) The entire Reva plot was forced and seems irrelevant. Her being a Jedi Youngling working for Vader to take revenge for Order 66 while Vader knows about her intentions all along is hilarious.
2) Poor writing. The pace is slow and the direction is mediocre. A great opportunity with one of the most iconic Star Wars characters is wasted.

VERDICT – 2/5

PROS –
1) The only bearable scenes of the movie are between O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Seth Rogen.
2) Andy Serkis as Parker Wembley – unrecognizable in that makeup.

CONS –
1) While the complete movie was already ruined in the trailer, I decided to watch it anyway for the sake of Seth Rogen but the movie is a big bag of disappointment.

VERDICT– 4/5

PROS –
1) Definitive Aubrey Plaza film. A must watch for millennials.
2) A young psychotic woman goes to Los Angeles to befriend a social media influencer only to discover how shallow her idol really is.
3) A modern-day horror tale of social media obsessed people chasing pseudo-celebrities and seeking validation from strangers in the form of likes and emojis.
4) The climactic #iamingrid is even more horrifying as a sociopath like Ingrid who tried committing suicide is venerated as a role-model and inspirations by millions. The irony is frightening.

CONS –
