Verdict – 1/5

Pros –
1) Michael Shannon as Captain Beatty in this bibliophile’s dystopian nightmare

Cons –
1) Adaptation of this Ray Bradbury’s magnum opus was never easy. It’s the most influential dystopian novel after 1984 and Brave New World. But if we just talk about this movie adaptation, beneath all the sci-fi tech glitter, it’s worse than any Black Mirror episode.
2) Apart from Michael Shannon, the rest cast is stale.

Captain Beatty: I, too, burn with desire. But I would rather walk with my brother in the darkness than go alone in the light

Keith Morgan: Tammy, do you know how I got to where I am?
Tammy: Sucking dick and kissing ass?
