VERDICT – 5/5

PROS –
1) An epic Jewish gangster movie of epic length.

2) That iconic view of the Manhattan Bridge before Dominic is killed.
3) Non-linear Rated-R screenplay and great cinematography.
4) Cockeye’s Song by Ennio Morricone
5) Secretary Bailey twist
6) The young actors playing the younger version of the main characters were equally brilliant.

3) Good background score

CULT – 1

VERDICT – 4/5

PROS –
1) An unskilled, over-smart lawyer trying to defend his innocent cousins from murder charges leading to hilarious proceedings in courtroom. One of the all time must watch classic comedy. Joe Pesci deserved an Oscar for his performance alongside Marisa Tomei.
2) One of the best Courtroom Drama Film.
3) Marisa Tomei’s climactic monologues.

CONS –
1) The character of Vinny Gambini deserved a sequel or a sit-com.
