VERDICT – 3/5

PROS –
1) Ennio Morricone’s exceptional soundtrack. A special thanks to Quentin Tarantino for introducing this generation to gems like “A Silhouette Of Doom”, “Main Title (Navajo Joe)”, “The Confrontation/The Return of Joe”
2) Final axe throw scene by Joe killing Duncan.

CONS –
1) Mediocre cast. Even Burt Reynolds as Navajo Joe is not impressive.
2) Cliched western plot but without the essence of strong revenge.

QUOTE –
Sheriff Elmo Reagan: Only ones elected in this country are Americans.
Joe: My father was born here, in the mountains. His father before him and his father before him and his father before him. Where was your father born?
Sheriff Elmo Reagan: Ulp, what’s that to do with it?
Joe: I said, where was he born?
Sheriff Elmo Reagan: Uuh, in Scotland.
Joe: My father was born here, in America. His father before him and his father before him and his father before him. Now which of us is American?
