Pros –
1) Subtle dark humor.
2) “Stalker” de Niro.
3) Martin Scorsese Cameo.
4) Gripping screenplay with no loose ends.
5) Hints of Kubrick-ish set designs and non-linear story-line in the first half.

Cons –
1) It started as a character study of a struggling ‘persistent’ artist and ended up as “Dog Day Afternoon”.
2) Elements of fantasy.
